嘉兴的气质，藏在水与木的古老对话里。京杭运河的支脉如叶脉般静静延伸，将整座城市浸润成一块温润的璞玉。千年来，木船划过水巷，榫卯勾连起廊棚，这座城市对木的运用与理解，早已刻入基因，那是一种与自然共生的智慧，一种在精确结构中寻找温度的本能。

The character of Jiaxing lies hidden in an ancient dialogue between water and wood. The  tributaries of the Grand Canal extend quietly like the veins of a leaf, saturating the entire city  and shaping it into a piece of warm, refined jade. For thousands of years, wooden boats have  glided through narrow waterways, while mortise-and-tenon joints have connected corridors  and pavilions. The city’s understanding and use of wood are deeply ingrained in its DNA—an  instinctive wisdom of coexistence with nature, and a natural tendency to seek warmth and  humanity within precise structures.

而当代的嘉兴，将这份本能升华为诗学。它不再只是“水乡”，而成为一块精致的画布：南湖的烟波是底色，科创园区的流光勾勒线条，生活的丰盈在其间填色。传统与先锋在此和解，恰似上好的木作，既承载岁月的年轮，又展现出精准现代的切割面。这座城市懂得，真正的奢侈并非堆叠，而是在承袭与创造之间，找到那个最优雅的平衡点。

Contemporary Jiaxing elevates this instinct into a form of poetics. No longer merely a “water  town,” it has become a refined canvas: the misty waters of Nanhu Lake form the background,  the glow of innovation parks sketches the lines, and the richness of daily life fills in the  colors. Tradition and modernity find reconciliation here, much like fine woodworking that  carries the rings of time while revealing sharply cut, modern surfaces. This city understands  that true luxury is not accumulation, but the ability to find an elegant balance between  inheritance and creation.

本期，我们探访的居所，便生长于这种平衡之中。当木的温厚底蕴，遇见轻奢的现代笔触，一所房子便成了城市精神的微型注解。

The residence we visit in this issue grows precisely from this balance. When the warm depth  of wood meets the light touch of contemporary luxury, a home becomes a microinterpretation of the city’s spirit.

在居所的叙事里，玄关是第一重仪式。它界定内外，让归家的序幕在此从容展开。一方改造的入户区，以精妙的序列分割空间；一道深邃的木色，将外界的纷扰滤净。它不张扬，却奠定了整个家的气韵与尺度。

In the narrative of a home, the entryway is the first ritual. It defines the boundary between  outside and inside, allowing the act of returning home to unfold calmly. A reconfigured  entrance area divides the space through a refined sequence; a deep wood tone filters out the  noise of the outside world. It is understated, yet it establishes the atmosphere and scale of  the entire home.

入户门本身，即是一件精心构筑的木纹拼图。匠人凭借毫米级精度，将多块木材以精准角度与厚度裁切、重组。严丝合缝的几何拼接，不仅构成全新的理性纹样，更在秩序之中，焕发出沉静而深邃的视觉层次。

The entrance door itself is a carefully constructed wooden mosaic. Working with millimeterlevel precision, craftsmen cut and reassemble multiple wood panels at calibrated angles and  thicknesses. The tightly aligned geometric joints create a new, rational pattern, which, within  its order, reveals a calm yet profound visual depth.

推开这扇艺术之门，感官便被温柔置换。视线所及，皆为深邃的木色所包裹。光线在起伏的纹路上缓慢流淌，触摸到的空气，都带着木质特有的呼吸感。此处再无外界，只有家本身的、沉稳而安宁的吐纳。

As this artistic door opens, the senses are gently recalibrated. The eye is wrapped in deep  wood tones; light flows slowly across the undulating grain, and even the air seems to carry  the breath of wood. The outside world fades away, leaving only the home itself—steady,  quiet, and serene in its rhythm.

客餐厅以全然敞开的姿态，构成家的核心。南北通透的格局，让光线与空气在此自由穿梭、对流通畅。深色木饰面以连贯的温润肌理，无声统一着整个空间。

The living and dining areas, fully open to one another, form the core of the home. A north– south through-layout allows light and air to circulate freely, while continuous dark wood  surfaces silently unify the space with their warm, cohesive texture.

无界的设计，消弭了功能的区隔，却拓宽了生活的尺度。视线与步履皆可在此流畅舒展，家庭的欢聚、安静的独处，乃至一日三餐的日常，都在这一片通透的光影与木香中，交织成连续而悠长的生活画卷。这里盛放的不仅是空间，更是流动的时光本身。

The boundary-free design dissolves functional divisions and expands the scale of daily life.  Sightlines and movement unfold naturally; family gatherings, moments of solitude, and  everyday meals are woven together within this luminous field of wood and shadow, forming a  continuous, unhurried narrative of living. What unfolds here is not only space, but time itself  in motion.

电视背景墙，似一场精心设计的空间魔术，两扇木作隐形门可自如开合。向两侧滑开，便显露出中间的视听核心；向中央轻盈并拢，则化身为完整的饰面，唯留两侧开放层架展露藏品。一开一合间，功能与美学完成静默转换，让墙面成为可呼吸、可互动的动态艺术。

The TV feature wall performs a subtle spatial transformation. Two concealed wooden sliding  doors open and close with ease: drawn apart, they reveal the audiovisual core; brought  together, they become a seamless surface, leaving only the open shelves on either side to  display selected objects. In this quiet movement, function and aesthetics shift seamlessly,  turning the wall into a dynamic, breathing artwork.

而隐形门本身，便是一件精密的几何艺术。匠人以放射状射线拼接木料，每一道纹理都指向无形的中心，构成充满张力的视觉韵律。当两扇门合拢，这些深邃的射线便严丝合缝地对接，在墙面上形成一个完整而深邃的焦点，宛如空间的引力中心，静谧却极具力量。

The concealed doors themselves are exercises in geometric precision. The wood is  assembled in a radial pattern, each grain line pointing toward an invisible center, creating a  rhythm charged with tension. When the two panels close, these deep lines align perfectly,  forming a complete focal point on the wall—like the gravitational center of the space, calm  yet assertive.

木饰面甄选乌拉圭玫瑰木，搭配意式零度哑涂装工艺。这一内敛的处理，将天然纹理包裹于极致的哑光质感之中，从而呈现出一种如呼吸般柔和温润的高级感。

The wood surfaces are crafted from Uruguayan Rosewood, finished with an Italian zero-gloss  matte coating. This restrained treatment wraps the natural grain in an ultra-matte texture,  delivering a refined elegance that feels soft and breathable rather than assertive.

玫瑰木的魅力，在其醇厚而安静的质地。纹理深邃如静夜，光泽被收敛至最温柔的维度，仅以触感传递温度。这种高级，不事张扬，却令空间拥有了一种沉静而笃定的叙述力。

The appeal of rosewood lies in its quiet richness. Its grain is deep and subdued, like a still  night, with luster reduced to its gentlest expression—communicating warmth primarily  through touch. This form of sophistication does not seek attention, yet it lends the space a  sense of calm confidence and narrative depth.

为消解木饰面的沉寂感，设计师以垂直的纤细线条为其注入节奏。这些凹槽在沉稳的木面上切割出光的轨迹，如同静默的琴弦，当视线游走其上，空间便有了呼吸的韵律与向上生长的诗意。

To counterbalance the stillness of the wood surfaces, the designer introduces slender vertical  grooves. These lines carve paths of light across the dark wood, like silent strings of an  instrument; as the eye moves along them, the space seems to breathe, gaining rhythm and a  subtle upward poetic movement.

厨房以一座深邃的岛台为轴心，自然地融入客厅的呼吸中。它打破了区域的界定，让料理时的细碎声响、咖啡香气与交谈笑意，都成为空间里流动的风景。木的温润包容着烟火气，为开放的生活场景，添上一笔松弛与亲密。

The kitchen centers on a deep island, seamlessly integrating with the living area’s flow. It  dissolves rigid spatial boundaries, allowing the sounds of cooking, the aroma of coffee, and  everyday conversations to become part of the interior landscape. The warmth of wood  embraces the realities of daily life, adding relaxation and intimacy to this open living scene.

家的叙事，在上半章的柔光中暂作休止。木与光层层交织，已然勾勒出生活的清晰轮廓。而更深处的静谧与独白，依旧隐匿于未开启的门后。余下的诗意旅程，将在下一次推门时，完整呈现。

The narrative of the home pauses here, within the soft light of the first chapter. Layers of  wood and light have already outlined the contours of everyday living. Yet deeper still, behind  unopened doors, lie quieter moments and more intimate reflections. The remaining poetic  journey will unfold with the next door opening.
