长江如帛，自巴山楚峡逶迤而来，在荆州城廓外织就一片苍茫。这里是文化底蕴深厚的荆楚之地。如今，一座凌江而起的复式宅邸，以木为经纬，将荆楚的浑厚气韵悄然植入当代生活的褶皱。木作，不再是器物，而是山河的拓印、时光的切片，它用年轮丈量文明的厚度，以肌理回应江水的呼吸。

The Yangtze River flows like silk, meandering from the Bashan and Chu Gorges, weaving a  vast expanse beyond the walls of Jingzhou. This is the land of rich Jingchu culture. Now, a  duplex mansion rising by the river integrates the profound essence of Jingchu into the folds  of contemporary living, with wood as its structural thread. Wood is no longer just an object; it  is an imprint of mountains and rivers, a fragment of time. Its rings measure the depth of  civilization, and its textures echo the breath of the flowing river.

七米挑高的空间盛满天光，落地玻璃将城市的风光裁下一角装入画框。整面护墙板以美国黑胡桃木拼接而成，木纹如江水千年冲刷的滩涂，深浅褶皱间沉淀着自然的叙事。

The seven-meter-high space is bathed in natural light, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing  a portion of the city’s landscape like a painting. The entire wall paneling is composed of  American black walnut, its grain resembling riverbanks sculpted by millennia of flowing water,  where nature’s narrative is etched into every ripple and fold.

设计师摒弃繁复雕琢，仅以木材原始的呼吸感对话辽阔，横向延展的木质肌理暗合水波频率，纵向拼接的缝隙恰似舟楫划开的涟漪，在晨昏光影中荡出无声的韵律。

The designer avoids excessive ornamentation, instead allowing the wood's raw, breathing  quality to communicate with the vastness of the space. The horizontal grain echoes the  rhythm of water ripples, while the vertical joints resemble the gentle waves parted by passing  boats, creating a silent symphony in the shifting light of dawn and dusk.

大片护墙板整齐排列，木材的温度在留白处生长，木缝间流淌的阴影如平缓江波，与石材地面构成水墨氤氲的边界。当暮色漫过纱帘，红樱桃木的暖调渐次苏醒，在极简空间中生长出生命的力量。

The expansive wall panels are meticulously arranged, allowing the warmth of the wood to  flourish in the negative space. Shadows between the seams resemble gentle river currents,  forming an ink-wash boundary with the stone floor. As dusk filters through sheer curtains,  the warm tones of cherrywood gradually awaken, bringing life to the minimalist space.

“上善若水”的哲思在空间中化作无形涟漪，整面护墙板化作水的具象表达。木纹以涟漪状向四周舒展，光的澄澈渗入意式涂装浸润的肌理，气的流转在木面投下波光般的阴影。当指尖抚过温润表面，触到的不仅是木材的呼吸，更像是触碰长江在岩层间沉淀亿万年的温热记忆。

The philosophy of “the highest virtue is like water” transforms into invisible ripples within the  space, with the wooden wall panels serving as a tangible expression of water. The wood grain  expands outward like ripples as pure light seeps into the Italian-coated textures, casting  shimmering shadows across the wooden surface. As fingertips glide over its smooth warmth, they do not merely touch the breath of wood, but also the ancient warmth of the Yangtze  River settled within rock layers over eons.

最奢侈的闲适，是容得下一室寂静与广袤天地对望。当整座宅邸沉浸于如晴空般澄澈的宁静之中，方领悟归心所向之处，实则是在这一方由木构筑的空间内，外界的纷扰喧嚣被温柔地转化为耳边微风轻拂般的平和。

The most luxurious form of leisure is the ability to embrace both absolute stillness and vast  openness. As the entire residence is immersed in a serenity as clear as the sky, one realizes  that the true destination of the soul is within this wooden sanctuary—where the outside  world's noise is gently transmuted into a breeze brushing softly past the ears.

空间的平衡秩序，是让材质学会相生相克。铜的锐利在木纹褶皱里钝化，石的孤傲被木作温度驯服，而木的谦卑因铜石映衬愈发深邃。在这里，木材不仅是串联空间的线索，更是以退为进的智者。

The balance of space lies in the interplay of materials, where contrasts find harmony. The  sharpness of copper is softened within the folds of the wood grain, the warmth of wood  tames the aloofness of stone, and the humility of wood becomes even more profound when  juxtaposed with metal and stone. Here, wood is not merely a structural element but a wise  presence that advances by retreating.

大厅挑空处，垂落的吊灯犹如漫天繁星汇聚，倾洒下柔和而辉煌的光芒，将这片汇聚家族欢声笑语的殿堂装点得分外璀璨，成为承载亲情欢聚时光的无上舞台。

In the double-height hall, cascading chandeliers resemble a sky filled with stars, casting a  soft yet brilliant glow. Adorned with warmth and laughter, this radiant space becomes the  ultimate stage for cherished family gatherings.

在时光的流转中，木头，这一自然之赐，以它独有的温润与沉静，缓缓铺陈出一幅幅关于家的闲适画卷。它不言不语，却以每一寸肌理，每一道年轮，诉说着关于生活的诗意与远方。

As time flows, wood—this gift of nature—unfolds a tranquil narrative of home through its  warmth and stillness. Though silent, every grain and every ring tells a poetic story of life and  longing.

铜艺楼梯以旋转姿态盘旋而上，每一阶踏板皆以整块石材嵌入铜框，石材的纹理刻意顺应螺旋轨迹，如屈子笔下“乘舲船余上沅兮”的江流，裹挟着漩涡的力道向天际攀升。

A copper staircase spirals upward, with each step embedded with a single stone slab. The  stone’s veining deliberately follows the spiral’s trajectory, much like the surging waters  described by Qu Yuan: “I set sail upon the Yuan River,” carrying the force of the eddying  currents toward the sky.

当正午阳光穿透顶窗，铜面折射出斑斓光影，在石阶上跳跃，仿佛每一级都铺满了金色的涟漪。拾级而上，足底与石材的每一次触碰，都激起一阵清脆的回响，与窗外隐约的轮船汽笛遥相呼应，如同在历史的长河中航行，每一步都踏出了跨越时空的韵律。

As the noonday sun pierces through the skylight, copper surfaces reflect dazzling patterns  that dance upon the stone steps, as if each level is paved with golden ripples. Ascending the  stairs, every footstep against the stone resonates with a crisp echo, subtly harmonizing with  the distant calls of passing ships. It is as if one is navigating the river of history, each step  tracing the rhythm of time itself.

夜幕低垂，万籁俱寂之时，仰望那浩瀚星河，点点繁星如同细碎的梦，撒落在无垠的天幕，引领心灵步入一场宁静而深远的旅行。此刻，家的轮廓在夜色中温柔地勾勒，灯火阑珊处，是归宿的温暖与安宁。

As night falls and silence envelops the world, gazing up at the vast galaxy, the scattered stars  resemble delicate dreams cast across the boundless sky, guiding the soul into a tranquil and  profound journey. At this moment, the home's silhouette is gently outlined in the night, where  the glow of distant lights signifies the warmth and peace of belonging.

日光在木纹里又走过一轮，故事暂歇于此，那些未说尽的，就交给往后的晨昏。家的叙事从不落幕，正如窗外的江水，总在等下一阵风起时，漾开新的涟漪。让我们怀揣期待，于下篇重逢。

The story pauses here as sunlight traces another cycle through the wood grain, leaving the  untold to the coming mornings and evenings. The narrative of home never truly ends—just  like the river outside the window, always awaiting the next breeze to ripple anew.
